Information about Iowa American Water

Iowa American Water's East River Station treatment facility is located on the bank of the Mississippi River in Davenport, about one mile upstream of Lock & Dam #15. The facility, which has been at its current location since about 1874, has received numerous multi-million dollar upgrades over the years. Iowa American Water utilizes conventional flocculation/sedimentation treatment processes as well as SuperPulsator technology and has a 30-million gallon daily capacity. On average, about 16 million gallons of water are delivered each day to customers in Bettendorf, Davenport, LeClaire, Panorama Park and Riverdale.
